I have had a lifelong passion for photography and have always had a camera in my hand, even as a child. I always wanted to do more with my interest in photography, and over time I found myself taking photos at every family and friend event; soon I started getting requests from others to take their family photos. I began to realize that photography was more than a hobby to me - it was a true passion that I found in capturing special moments in others lives.

In January 2011, I tragically lost my mom who was very special to so many people. She was my biggest supporter and always encouraged me to do what I love. She is the reason I named my business, "Oh Be Joyful", after her favorite toy rocking horse she had as a child. It serves as a reminder to see the joy in things. I found healing in starting my photography business and naming it in her memory and honor.

As a busy mom with four children (one already in college!) I know how important it is to capture the milestones in your life and keep them to treasure forever. I want to help you to do that with your family and children by working with you to create lasting memories to cherish and keep for years to come.
